The most rewarding aspect of being a part of HAZ is the fulfillment that comes from knowing that through acts of service, one has touched another person’s life in a truly positive and impacting manner. Perhaps this should not be surprising, considering these Biblical teachings:
1 Peter 4:10 ESV
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:
James 2:14-17 ESV
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
We at HAZ believe that activism begins by touching just one life; and it can be the smallest things that make a big difference.
We believe that by working together, combining our individual and small efforts, we can make a huge difference for those living with HIV/AIDS.
Whether you are a writer who sends us a thought-provoking article, or you are a physician that volunteers to see our patients, or a nurse that chooses to help at our clinics, or an individual who chooses to donate, or to conduct a Vitamin Drive, or a fundraiser on our behalf, your actions through HAZ bring hope and livelihood to those we serve.
We encourage you to get involved in our efforts to make the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS not just bearable, but joy-filled.
