At the encouragement of the UK charity, “Teddies for Tragedies”, the craft group at the Convent of Jesus & Mary in Felixstowe met every Wednesday throughout the autumn, to knit small teddy bears that they intended to give to children “who need a hug”.
Our experience lets us know that when providing support to an individual living with HIV/AIDS, one is faced with interconnected problems that need to be addressed holistically, if significant and long-term benefits are to be realized in the client’s life.
