We recently entered into a partnership with the Salvation Army’s, Zimbabwe Territory, Masiye Camp Program, aimed at benefiting the children in our various projects.
Masiye Camp operates under the Salvation Army Development Services Department, which is registered as a welfare organization. The objective of the department is to carry on and promote in Zimbabwe, the religious purposes of the Salvation Army, and such work for the social and moral regeneration and improvement of persons who are destitute or needy and such other educational and charitable objects and purposes as may from time to time be determined.
Mission: Our mission in this partnership is to provide through Masiye Camp, quality psychosocial support to orphans and vulnerable children and youth who are particpants in our various other projects.
Specific Objectives:
- To raise enough funding to cover the participant costs for sending each of all the young clients in our various other projects, to at least one age-appropriate camp session, at Masiye Camp.
- To raise enough funding to cover the participant costs for sending each of the project leaders in our various projects, to at least one project-appropriate training session each, at Masiye Camp.
- To help raise awareness about, and hence support for Masiye Camp across the international community.
